The mimosa is for now… because it is in flower and it fills with it’s perfume the mimosa route,in the South of France… You will be able to admire it on the mimosa route, in one word during 300 km accross 8 villages. That is to say, Bormes-Les-Mimosas, Sainte Maxime, Saint Raphael, Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Tanneron, Pégomas, Grasse… Follow me, I tell ypu all about this year 2019 mimosa agenda.

Guided Mimosa walk from Mandelieu-la Napoule
The mimosa has been imported by the British, during the nineteenth century and blossoms from January till March in,order to offer an unforgettable scenery of colours and smells !. During that period, the mild climate and the blue sky invite to discover the mountain of the Esterel. So, nothing is better than to a convivial walk so to smell all the secrets of those beautiful colours.
Date : 26 & 27th of January, every Sunday of the month Of February, 3rd of March – Time : 2 hours and a half Departure : Mandelieu Price :15 euros per adult and 10 euros per child( 3-12 years old).
Stroll in the country-At the heart of the Esterel and the mimosa
How to discover the Esterel in winter wih the mimosas. You have the company of Marjorie Ughetto, your naturalist guide and start from Agay in order to enjoy a walk filled with wonderful odours. The discussed themes, during this walk, will be about the mimosas, the volcans and the plants of the mountain of the Esterel…

Naturalist walk at the heart of the Tanneron and the mimosas
Immerse yourself into the mountain of the Tanneron, for a walk with Marjorie Ughetto, the naturalist guide. Discover the mimosas under all it’s shapes, the perfumed plants bouquets or the ornemental ones.. . Discover it’s location and the biodiversity, without forgetting the story of the Tanneron massif along with the nearby villages.

Discovery of the Esterel with Joseph, Esterel Tours
In collaboration with the National Office of the Forests, Joseph Di Caro offers since 1990 an original discovery of the forest of the Esterel. Your guide will take charge of you and will explain his passion for the region. The program is : Discovery of the Esterel and it’s incredible scenries by mini bus with stops and explanations.

The Mimosa Festival
On Saturday February 23rd at 2pm Election of the Queen of the Mimosa at Mandelieu-la Napoule
In a festive atmosphere around choregraphies and songs, the election of the « Queen of Mimosa » presented by the Comity Miss Côte d’Azur for Miss France, will happen at the Centre des Expositions et des Congrès- Free entrance.

On Sunday February 24th 2019 Floral Corsa at Bormes-les-Mimosas
12 Parade floats wonderfully decorated with fresh flowers and mimosa, followed by folklore groups and bands, without not forgetting the battle of flowers, for the closure !
In the morning ; entertainments at the heart of the medieval village. The parade is at 2pm.
Entrance : 6 euros-free for children under 10.

On Sunday February 24th ar 2.30pm Great Floral Float at Mandelieu-La-Napoule
Facing the sea, this festival offers a great float under the theme of « Marco Polo’s adventures » ! There, you will see the floats, braided with mimosa, escorted by numerous street artists, musical groups, dancers on Henry Clews Avenue.
Price : seats oin the boxes : adults :15 euros-Children from 2 to 17, groups from 20 persons and PMR : 12 euros Free entrance for the open sides
